Don’t give up the power of positivity if you’re still in review! I applied for summer and I’m pretty convinced that they only sent out summer transfer final decisions the DAY BEFORE the orientation registration deadline, as orientation was required and every transfer student I spoke to there had only heard maybe two days before the registration deadline. Even if you’re still in review after tonight (which is entirely possible, quite a few people last year didn’t even hear back until July) it doesn’t mean that you haven’t gotten in. At this point, all of you guys have done all you can do to get admitted, and you’ve worked your asses off to get there. From what I’ve seen, a lot of you have already received acceptances to other really prestigious schools. You should be amazingly proud of what you’ve done in the past year, don’t let some stupid pixels on a computer screen determine your worth. Frankly, I think that everyone on this thread deserves to get in!
Hmm I wonder if dual credit hurts you… I had like 65 hours from HS with a mediocre GPA from it (3.45) but a 2-semester GPA of 3.77 at univ. Anyone know?
It wouldn’t make sense to not hear back till July. People need to be able to make decisions before that

@SenkakuLichen Dual credit can hurt you. I would have a 4.0, but due to a ‘C’ in my junior year of high school, I have a 3.86
I don’t think there were any CNS decisions today, unless I missed something.
@SenkakuLichen they calculate your college GPA based off of your dual credits GPAand college GPA combined
@rangerfan34 yeah I wasn’t very academically disciplined until late junior/ all of senior year when those A’s started stacking up. Alas, it was too late to fix and UT denied me
Guys I can’t do this for another weekend. Please CS release decisions so this can be over. This wait has completely ruined me. This past week has been the worst experience of my life.
I think someone a few pages ago got bio as their second choice, but other than that yeah, I don’t think there were any others

@SenkakuLichen Exact same story here bud. Sorry to hear you got rejected. I’m pretty sure I got rejected from my first choice because of it. Just praying I get into my second choice.

Shout-out to all CNS! Please if you see this, tell me what’s going on with you so I know that I’m not in this alone. I am still in review and haven’t seen any signs of decisions being made for CNS. I have half a mind to say that those decisions will not be released tonight despite promises made by the admissions office, and don’t think I can go another weekend like this.
