My gpa was 3.4, 5 LOR , 2 strong essays , lots of volunteer hours and involvement at UT clubs

I think it’s interesting that somebody with Bio as their second choice got accepted but no one else with CNS as their first choice has heard back… :-?
@longhorn322 I think sociology majors aren’t getting in because based on last year’s stats, for sociology majors, I saw people with less than 3.5 get in. I’m guessing sociology is filled up this year. I’m in the same boat as you. I’m gonna be an Aggie also, so if you wanna converse before school starts, I’m down for that. Sorry this is so long

I honestly dont know what the basis of my rejection is but it is okay, i Tried my hardest and i think this is one of those times that i have to turn something negative into a positive thing. I just hope i wouldve known sooner. I think there is a better opportunity out there that’s waiting for me and to those who got rejected, there are better days ahead.

@hookmepls what I think might be involved is the fact that the entire CNS college list hasn’t been released, but that person was originally in COLA. He could have been accepted but his app might still be under the COLA umbrella. Just a theory. Our time will come…hopefully sooner rather than later
