@collegekid0013 That’s not necessarily true, if your essays are good and you have good EC’s, then those should boost your application.
Just talked to admissions
Me - “A lot of my friends got accepted into CS yesterday, should I be worried that I was denied my first major and that they are now reviewing me for my second choice?”
Admissions - “ No, I can assure your that only a handful of students were admitted yesterday. You should know by mid-may”
I am dead inside.

This is just a process. they will not look at it.
We gotta trust the process. Look at the Philadelphia 76ers, it only took two season ending injuries over the last two years, but look at em now.

They’re never going to say anything other than what they’re advised to say (which is the safest response possible). We could still get some today.
I can almost guarantee we will at least see a few today.

On another note, I talked to admissions and asked if sending in Spring grades would make a difference in the initial decision and they said no. However, they said you can still appeal with them.
Hi! Found this thread in a Google search. I completed my application in Febuary and am in review. English major transferring from ACC to COLA. I’ve got a 3.8 and 60 transferable credits. Relatively hopeful, but I don’t want to build myself up only to be let down, so I’m keeping a cool head.

I’m a freshman at Texas A&M, I applied to transfer as an English Major to UT in the fall. I haven’t heard yet and I am DYING!!!
