@ultracry : as far as I know, you have to have all the prerequisites completed in order to be considered. And they will add spring grade to count your transfer GPA. I still have cal2. But if you don’t, then it doesn’t matter.
@harugaru How do i know what my prereqs are? I’m applying for moody college for RTF and i’m currently at ACC. I’ve been following the transfer course guide if that’s it? Or are you saying I have to have all of my basics done before i can be considered at UT?
yeah im an english major and i haven’t heard about prereqs lol
@Zeoxys do you complete all prerequisites?
@ultracry I think they’re different for every major. For example for CS you have to have up to Calc 2 completed. I dont think Moody is as strict though. So i’m sure as long as you have over 30 hrs and have been following the transfer guide you’re good. I’m at ACC too! goodluck!
@ultracry: I really don’t know about moody. But for McComb. They are Cal1 and 2, Econ 1 and 2. You always can call admission office to ask about this question for your major
@ultracry I’m also RTF. There was nothing that I was ever made aware of as a pre-req to getting into Moody, but they do have some pretty decent requirements for the RTF major, including Intermediate level foreign language and a couple of other things of that nature, that are required for graduation. I’m working on those at my OOS CC
Here is the pertaining list https://admissions.utexas.edu/explore/prerequisites
Have any more CNS people heard back?
@hookmepls I wish :’(
nope, I’m still waiting…
I’m nervous to check mystatus without the email because I plan on yelling when I open it and if I’m in public and not prepared Starbucks is gonna kick me out lol
So just to be clear, if I have well over 24 hours but I am currently in the process of taking the last prerequisite for my major, will I have to send in my spring transcript before I receive a decision?
@spicytamale Why’d you opt out of automatic transfer admission? That’s how I applied…i thought I would hear sooner but no luck so far.
I go to A&M, and i wasn’t in top 10% in HS
@lovieland You will have to submit your spring transcripts if you don’t have all the prerequisites completed.
you have to have taken core classes at community or junior college and have veen in top 10% in HS
@Thompson2688 thanks!
@harugaru
I had all pre-reqs completed before I applied
and I had more than 24 hrs
