@Larysa yes it is a type of liberal arts education with required honors classes in literature and pholosphy et. Cet. but it definitely allows a second field of study like engineering or natural sciences. It’s not something to worry about but it is something that can be very beneficial. If your son or daughter applied for it they must have had a reason that they can explain to you.
