UT spring transfer 2020 thread.

I got accepted yesterday

Good luck everyone. I still can’t believe I got in. I never thought I’d get in considering my GPA and that Biology is a popular major.

Just got accepted today!

3 LOR’s

Decent (not great) resume

Don’t give up just yet guys!

What do you mean you sent in your transcript twice? Did you submit an updated transcript with fall 2019 grades?

sent it in twice meaning that during the summer i sent it with an updated version of my grades from my summer classes compared to my spring grades.

they didn’t ask for it and i know that on my status it said something about you had to make sure you hat you sent were the correct ones because you can’t correct it so i didn’t know if because i sent in my transcript a second time without them asking for it if they used it or just used the original transcript i sent in.

REJECTED

I applied for Medical Laboratory Science. I knew i would be rejected because UT dont have a class for this major and they dont have enough sources for it. it wasnt clear why i was rejected. theyve been thinking about it since June.I have gpa of 3.5 and associate degree in Biology also working at a laboratory so its really stupid that they reject me…good luck everybody

Anyone knows where to pay the $200 acceptance fee? And when is orientation and how to sign up for it?

Did anyone submit your final transcript to get your fall semester courses approved? if so, how did you do it?

I called Thursday and asked about that and was told that they will still make a decision regardless. If you’re accepted, you can send it in afterwards.

My daughter got accepted yesterday:
CNS
BIOLOGY
No LOR
80 hours volunteer

She is a transfer from Penn State (started fall 2018). I don’t remember her GPA.
But she had a 3.88 GPA from Lonestar College and 2 associate degrees since 2018 while she was still in high school. Her high school had a program with Lonestar

Just got accepted!

From Austin but transferred from out of state private school
CNS - Nutrition
60 ish hours
No LOR
3.66 GPA
Lots of EC and volunteering

Had honestly given up hope (and pretty much committed to another school) but here we are!!!

How did anyone pay $200 acceptance fee? I tried to pay it through eproxy but it says that I don’t owe them anything…

I ask that same question, but no response yet. What is epoxy and where to find it? You could call admissions and ask them. I can call because I’m a parent and my daughter is on vacation out the country

I called and spring transfers don’t have to pay $200 deposit

Thanks

Have sort out any kind of housing yet?

I got accepted on January 9th, and one of the tasks on the to do list is to register for orientation, but the orientation registration deadline was January 6th at midnight. For those that were accepted after the registration deadline, what are y’all doing about orientation, finding an advisor, and registering for classes?
