Everyone is different, @Marian ‘s experience is very different than that of my husband and best friend. They have both had several painful surgeries that , even with skilled dermatologists and plastic surgeons, resulted in prominent scars. My husband’s are mainly on the bald part of his head, which was certainly not exposed during his childhood or early adulthood.
