<p>That said, no one at your stage (incoming frosh) should be focused on any one particular med school. </p>
<p>Med schools are NOT like undergrads. Med school education is rather flat. Everyone learns the same things. All US MD schools are excellent. There are no “so so” US MD schools. Getting into ANY US MD school is an achievement. </p>
<p>This is what is odd about US MD schools: A good number are on college campuses of schools that many students would never have considered for undergrad. My son has three MD acceptances. One is on a campus of a college that he never would have attended as an undergrad, yet the MD school is excellent and if that had been his only MD acceptance, he would have happily attended that med school.</p>
