<p>As a transfer student who faced this same dilemma last year, I think I can provide some help. UVA and UNC are very similar schools; both are top public universities in great college towns with a good sports scene. Both schools are obviously strong academically. I chose UVA more for personal reasons (family attended/closer to home). If it hadn’t been for this, it would have made the decision even more difficult. Just know that you can’t go wrong in your choice and to never look back. Maybe I’ll see you in Charlottesville next year
