A couple of people have said it but I’ll say it again. If you are really focused on medical school, engineering might not be the best undergraduate major as it may be tougher to get a high GPA and the coursework may not be the best direct preparation for the MCAT. This may not be the case for you, but I think you should address this question first.
Tech demolishes UVA in bachelor of science completion rate and course selection. Even in premed majors like biochemistry biology neuroscience nutrition exercise etc. Just go look at graduate archives and course selections lol
I do not want to side with either school. I think both school have a good curriculum for premed and they send many of their graduates to med school. I really don’t think Vtech is superior than UVA for premed and they are equally challenging. Its matter of personal preference, visit both to decide.
Personally, I prefer Charlottesville over Blacksburg location wise and environmentally.
