<p>@potatomawnster, I’m fairly sure that one batch is the set of letters that are sent out on the same day by UW admissions. The time that it takes for the letter to get to you if you’re in the batch is just dependent on your location, so some people (especially out of state students) will get their letter later than other students in the same batch. But generally speaking most people will hear within a few days of the ‘beginning’ of the batch (the first people that post here saying they got a letter). </p>
<p>@afern83 @skays17 Sorry for replying so late … I applied with a 3.87 GPA and I had a couple of extracurriculars that I wrote about in my personal statement (not sure if anyone cares to hear what was in it lol). I applied to the Foster School of Business which has a reputation of delivering earlier notifications. The strange part is that I never indicated on my General Admission application that I was going to apply to Foster; I originally put Psychology with no second choice major. Then last minute, I realized that I really did want to apply to Foster and completed the separate application process. Long story short, my theory is that Foster tipped off the school that they accepted me, which in turn, is the reason why my unofficial transcript loaded so early. But who knows, maybe I’ll be the first one who had an unofficial transcript load and got rejected lol I’ll post on here about any official news, hopefully by Monday the latest. </p>
<p>@skays17 I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the Foster application or not, but my Pre-App GPA was a 3.99 and I won’t find out my WSA score until I receive the official letter. I’ll let you know then :]
If this helps to gain more perspective, someone posted these stats about this year’s “Admitted” averages:</p>
<p>Combined GPA: 3.57
Pre-App GPA: 3.65
WSA: 4.09</p>

<p>Does anyone know if you are accepted into a competitive major, then it most likely means you are accepted to the general admission?</p>
<p>@sywso1 In my case, if I get into Foster, I’m pretty sure I will be accepted for general admissions as well because Foster requires significantly higher stats than general admissions. Good luck ~!!</p>

<p>@Candela2 mentioned that you can check your Financial Aid Status to see if UW requested any documents from you. I see that mine were requested, received, but not reviewed. Is anyone else in that same boat? Or was anyone else in that same boat and then admitted or denied admission? Thank you.</p>
<p>@alisham87 Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I sent in a document they needed a few days back. They sent me an email saying they received the document, but on MyUW it stills says “not reviewed.” </p>
<p>My acceptance letter came in today with the enrollment packet. It asks me to submit my enrollment fee no later than the 23rd. So I guess that is when the next batch will start releasing. Good luck to everyone! Hope to see you in the Fall. </p>

<p>@Kat0509, if your unofficial transcript page loaded, when before it never used to load, this pretty much guarantees that you are accepted. </p>

@darkcurls67 i applied for the school and put my intended major, however i havent applied to the major yet since I still need some classes in order to meet the require.</p>
