<p>No it is actually not my opinion. I know a couple students from my school (Class of 2007) who are currently in the program…they told me that they asked madison why they are discontinuing the program and this is the reason they gave. I believe it completely too since the program was only available for wisconsin residents. The med school is on par with other top medical schools who offer medical scholars programs (Northwestern, Brown, Rice, Case Western), yet since the program was only available for wisconsin residents, it could not be nearly as selective as these other universities.</p>
