Does everyone here have it? Does someone not have it I’m scared that I am not even being considered for the second major since I just have “completed - regular decisions”
Under my application status, it still says “deferred decision”. Don’t know if this is good or bad for not changing.
Mine still says deferred decision
mine says “Change prog/degree objective” where it once said “Deferred Decision” OOS Business major
Is this happening with all business majors?
Ok now I am worried because I am a deferred OOS Business Major too and mine still says Deferred Decision
Mine says deferred decision but I’m a biochem major, so I think it’s random?
Guys ugh now im stressed… is this a good or bad sign if we have it or not??
i applied for poli sci and for me all it says for next to application status is “Complete - Regular Decision”
For all of those freaking out…don’t. I believe from the EA board, this change typically meant that somebody was accepted, but not into their major. However, it doesn’t mean you got rejected if it doesn’t. You could be accepted or rejected in that major. Relax…go read previous year’s threads. Pretty sure this happened in EA, too.
mine says that too
Wait so what if it didnt change does it mean I got rejected?
Based on what HokieCrazy said, probably accepted in that major or flat out rejected. However, there’s no way of knowing until decisions come out.
Is there any chance decisions are coming out tonight since all these changes are happening on the portal…?
HokieCrazy pls dont leave us in the blue since you were in the EA tell us if the change didn’t happen does that mean its a flat rejection?
“So you’re saying there’s a chance” – Lloyd
I did already. In the EA, if it didn’t change, it didn’t mean anything one way or the other. People got accepted, rejected, and deferred in that case.
Not sure. My son applied Business also. I’ve been reading some of the EA threads around the time the December decisions came out, and there’s some suggestion that the Bus applicants who saw the “change prog/degree objective” prior to getting a decision ended up getting accepted but into the College of Letters & Sciences as pre-business. About half of the undergrad b-school students come thru direct admit and half come through pre-business people applying at the end of their freshman (I think) year.
Guys i think the change says that you were accepted, but not a direct admit to that major so like pre business for those with business majors
DECISIONS RELEASED FOR ME
