UW-MADISON TRANSFER FALL 2019

I think they are more generous than most UW schools. My sisters who go to Madison get more than I do at Milwaukee

Hey everyone! Last week I noticed a lot of changes on my portal that might indicate admissions. For example, everything looks a lot more official and has extra notes/is in depth compared to how it used to appear. Like under “campus personal information,” my residency has an extra section that states my official residency status and says the effective term (1202/Fall 2019-2020) for UWMSN/UW-Madison. There’s just a lot more information throughout my portal that I assume only currently enrolled students would have. Does everyone’s portal have more specifics or is this a sign of admissions?

I thought the residency info has always been there but I could be wrong!

Basic info/self-reported info was there for me before but this is official I guess. I could be wrong as well I just don’t remember seeing it before

@transfer2000 I see it as well, not sure how long it’s been there/who can see it.

I can see it! I know I ask this almost every day… but do you guys still have ‘no evaluations to display’ under your transfer credits?

Nope, I starting to think maybe they’ll push it back another week… since no one has had any changes. Hopefully it’ll come this week ?

@scrapthemap wait… nope as in you don’t have ‘no evaluations to display’ or nope as in it still hasn’t changed?

ok where are people even finding this transfer credit thing where do I go for that???

JK i found it lol nevermind yall

@marquette2madsn does yours have ‘no evaluations to display’ ?

Yes and like an empty nonworking link

@marquette2madsn ok good… it has a grey highlight to it and doesn’t work? some people’s disappeared then came back with an evaluation the day before decisions were released… I feel like they may be pushing back decisions ugh

I don’t think I can wait another week guys, I may actually go crazy!

I think it will be this Friday, a few regular decision freshman have started to notice a change in their majors. Not sure if this is a good/bad sign but apparently some people noticed it in prior years as well…

When I spoke to admissions on the phone last week they said we receive evaluations after being admitted not before. This wasn’t the case in previous years, do you think it changed or she was giving a standard response

Maybe it changed!!

oh maybe it changed since none of us have received transfer evaluations or even seen a change in our portal regarding them

Someone from regular decision received an admissions decision today.

Really? Freshman regular decision or transfer regular decision?
