Ok so, maybe more to do with the fact that our k-8 and high school districts work very closely together? (everything is seamless, the kids automatically get placed in the appropriate high school with all the info they need to choose courses etc given them to at the middle school, it basically feels like the same district from the student/parent perspective. I don’t know if other districts work like this because this is the entirety of our US schooling experience.)
