Wow, with all the crappy news I’ve been receiving from colleges lately, I’m actually blessed that I was waitlisted at Vanderbilt. While it’s a disappointment for most (I’ll send you a PM, @somehmonggirl , we can still get through this 
)
the fact that I was rejected at my top choice and have only known rejection for the last 2 or so years, this comes as a breath of fresh air.
edit: I guess this is more of a relief since the decisions are finally out, jezuz. Now to work out a game plan!

@somethingscript Cong!! Can I ask about the deadline for deposit? My friend hasn’t heard back yet and I want to predict the time for next wave.

The only issue I see in my particular case is as I said before, my counselor is out until May 29th. I have no idea whether he’ll read any of my correspondence until then but… I’m already preparing a blueprint of what I’ll be doing in the face of this waitlist.
Haven’t received one acceptance letter yet, so I’ll do anything I have to in order to turn this waitlist into one.

I know this might be tough, but everyone please post your decisions in decisions thread. It will be really helpful to future transfers.
Vandy doesn’t accept any waitlists right? I was waitlisted.
@joonyblue12 They didn’t last year, but they may or may not take waitlisted students this year depending on how well they predicted yield.
It’s like I told some others, even though they didn’t accept any waitlists off last year’s group, remember that they accepted maaaany more people last time than they did this time around. I mean seriously, last year’s 2nd wave was also FILLED with acceptances with the occasional waitlist. Going off this thread, it seems we were filled with rejections and waitlists, with the occasional acceptance.
I’d be a little more hopeful for the waitlist crew this time around. If there’s anything that this year taught us, is that trends don’t mean **** anymore.
