Is over ten extracurriculars the standard? I only had 9 lol

I have no idea, honestly I don’t know if more is always better

If one could have 10 meaningful, well-achieved extracurriculars, then I would say it is definitely better than 9. But one meaningful, well-achieved extracurricular is probably better than 10 extracurriculars that didn’t consume a ton of energy or time.

Does anyone have any clue on the applicant size? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find a thing not even for last year.

2018 there were 1557 applicants, 393 accepted.
2019 there were 1677 applicants, 383 accepted.

Is that what you’re looking for? There’s no info for 2020.

Yeah something like that thanks, I wonder if it’s going up or down this year and last with Covid, so unpredictable

i feel like it might be up, since they aren’t requiring us submitting test scores this year.

Last year whatever the number was probably a true anomaly. This year I feel like it could go either way. TO might increase applicants but Covid uncertainty might reduce numbers? The fact that they review applications into the summer really makes things unpredictable…do they reserve spots for the late submitters? I’d argue they shouldn’t but who knows.

Good news is we will know very soon! I think results began to be released around April 26 or so in 2019 :crossed_fingers:t2:Maybe they’ll do the same this year.

I hope it’s soon and I’m in the first wave, this is killing me lol I thought I’d be patient but it’s a lot harder than I thought.

Any reason why?

Not really except that in 2019 and 2018 there were decisions around April 26th. So I’m hoping they’ll do it again :grinning: I figured I’d build in a couple days buffer. I’d be super happy if it’s Monday!

You guys all went quiet, lol. It seems the wait really has killed some of us :((((((((((( wish they were more specific on when decisions come out instead of stating the possibility of any time throughout a 3-month span lmao.

What time of day do decisions typically come out?

I think the most common hours for release of decisions for all colleges is anywhere between 2pm-7pm. They usually don’t come out much earlier/later than that time span I think. I usually assume that after 7pm it’s most likely you won’t be getting one that same day

Gotcha. Decisions are pretty much guaranteed to come out sometime in the next week… get excited guys!

Yeh true! At least the first wave. They don’t have a choice but to release them! lol
