Vandy vs. Duke

midmo’s right

i actually think that i talked to her concerning my transfer last year :)

anyhow i got an email from my advisor in biomedical engineering and responded and competed for the job; unfortunately i decided to give it up due to my change in desire (i’m now a mechanical engineer) but most people just walk into teachers rooms/labs and ask for open positions.

to answer your question, i am a sophomore

and additionally, regardless of your major, the advisors always send emails to every member of that major regarding interns/jobs in the industry/ etc.

that is one of the best things about vanderbilt though…definitely focused on the undergrads

but one thing you should know: vanderbilt genetics and biology is incredible; possibly the country’s best (next to JHU or something) but i mean really first day you’ll know what i’m talking about
