<p>I find it interesting that Vassar received fewer applications for admission this year than it did last year, especially now that Vassar is considered a top 10 school. It’s probably not a significant drop, but I would have expected a large increase due to USNWR rankings. </p>
<p>It’s possible that applications to Vassar this year are of better quality than ever before. Maybe fewer marginal applicants are applying. </p>
<p>We won’t know until Vassar posts the freshman class profile later this year. I know I’ll be watching, regardless of Vassar’s decision on my daughter’s application.</p>
