Villanova admission twitter posted late yesterday "questions about your Nova application? ask us anything - reps available Monday 13th and Tuesday the 14th to talk about majors campus life etc…

I think that’s because their RD deadline is the 15th. But I hope you are right about today!
Last year I believe the night before (Thursday) Villanova stated on social media that EA decisions would be released the next day. Since that didn’t happen I would expect them to be released on the 15th.
if they were to be released today, what time would they come out?

Anybody know how much an alumni connection matters in the EA pool?
I thought in order to benefit from legacy you are supposed to apply ED. With that said, I know of a student that got in with legacy as an RD applicant. He had decent stats but I think he still got a bump from being legacy. But I really don’t know. Years ago, legacy only helped RD. But when they added ED, I believe this changed.

ok thanks for the response I hope I have a chance of being accepted (34 ACT and 4.3 GPA) but wasn’t sure if having legacy (both my mom and uncle attended) would help my chances.

My wife and daughter visited yesterday (not an official visit) but were able to meet with someone in admissions. Release is definitely tomorrow at the end of the day. Apparently, they release after school is over to avoid students checking the portal during classroom time.
My daughter was told there are 13,000 Early Action applicants, and ~3,000 were admitted, 7,000 deferred, and 3,000 declines.
She’s 30 ACT, 4.1 GPA and excellent EC’s (and an amazing person), applying into Biochemistry. It’s my daughter’s top choice – fingers crossed!

Anyone know what time (approx) they will come out tomorrow? I’m guessing in the early evening, but haven’t seen an official time, which I know a lot of schools publish in advance
