<p>And we aren’t even wondering whether the persons involved in this behavior are Catholics, or attorneys/“officers of the Court.” In any case, there are obviously moral and ethical issues about their behavior. </p>
<p>There was an article in the newspaper today about an attorney who was arrested for allegedly breaking a law. Not an uncommon occurrence, I’m afraid to say. Such stories seldom identify the academic backgrounds of the wrongdoers.</p>
<p>I think it would be interesting if there was a blog or website that kept track of disbarments for wrongdoing, convictions relating to legal practice, etc. as a percentage of the number of graduates of each school. While I’d like to believe the numbers would generally be miniscule, I think it would still be fascinating to see these rankings.</p>
