My son hasn’t gotten anything yet either. He was also deferred during EA. I’m getting nervous either that he doesn’t get in or gets a low ball financial offer (or no aid at all)
@pkchamp89 ahh I see! Such a long wait sucks- I hope it’s worth it in the end and he will get in!

@CP3rdTimeAround The admissions process will absolutely drive you crazy. It’s so hard to stop yourself from reading into things. Try not to. You will lose your sanity.
You guys think decisions will come out today?
@Nayrox I don’t think so. But, who knows. I know at this point my son would be very relieved if they did!
I think decisions were released last year on Thursday around 5pm. I am hoping that they come today. Next week is Holy Week so perhaps that will persuade them to release decisions today. Good luck everyone!
My D was deferred to RD from EA. She received an e-mail on 4/16, asking her to check her MyNova portal and make sure it was still active, as decisions were coming “end of March.” The e-mail stated it was being sent to any student who had created a MyNova portal. Villanova is a reach school for her, so I wouldn’t take it as a bad sign if you have not yet received an e-mail - I’m sure it’s coming. We’re not really expecting a yes, but it would be nice!

@Krishna98 or any one else who knows, what did the email that you recieved today say? Or was it an email with your decision? I got the email 2 days ago saying to make sure that my portal was set up for next week’s decision, but I didn’t get anything today.

I wonder where people got the idea that it was going to be released on the 17th. Kind of a letdown haha
There is a thread on the main CC forum that lists a ton of colleges with their release dates. Some are definite if the colleges put them on their websites and some are educated guesses based on prior years release dates. For the past two years, Villanova has released their decisions on the same Thursday in March. Hence, the forecast of yesterday being a possible release date. Hope that helps!
May be due to the increase in applications this year. They need an extra week to go through them.
Or maybe they want to release at beginning of their spring break so they don’t have to field phone calls from hundreds of people. Admissions always gets phone calls right after from some people asking if it was a mistake that they were denied or what their chances are of getting off waitlist, etc…
I think all of the schools were overwhelmed more than usual with apps this year and they do like to release after hours and before long weekends. It gives people time to figure out their decisions/financials then still call if they have questions.
Is anyone getting into their mynova portal? I am getting a message that the server is not responding. Maybe they are uploading decisions? Could this be it!!!
