Virginia Beach

We had a good time at Busch too. We don’t ride roller coasters, but if you love them like our kids do, I think Busch Gardens is a great park!!! One can have a very good time btw without riding coasters.

Have been to Busch Gardens numerous times. Living in eastern NC, it was the closest theme park to us when I was growing up. Always enjoyed BG. DH found an old pic in the closet last week taken of us at BG the first year we were married. It was one of the tintype looking things with us dressed in old west costumes…hilarious. I had this awful curly perm hair…ugh.

We might be the worst parents ever because we never took our kids (boys) to Disney World. Instead, we took them twice to Tampa to go to Busch Gardens, The Dark Continent. Way more rides and wild animals, no princesses or large cartoon characters.

Have they started up the brewery tours again at Busch Gardens? Our last visit in May 2010 we were told they stopped these and the various samples in the hospitality house.

dudedad, I’m pretty sure they are still not doing the tours. We always enjoyed going over to the Hospitality House on the monorail or whatever you call it. It was a nice break from roaming around the park. If anyone knows for sure, hopefully they will post.

dudedad, I do not think so.

Totally off topic if you don’t mind. I need a carpentery molding copied from of a historic buildings in Williamsburg. Any idea how I could get it? Any local shop specializing in this?
