@transfervt4evr yeah, I did my FAFSA at the beginning of February. did you apply regular decision or what?
You must pay FAFSA in order to get that email.
@gmhokie45 I am applying from an in state 4 year University so I am applying regular.
@transfervt4evr ok gotcha. So you’re expecting financial aid email then?
@gmhokie45 Yes, hopefully we both get it soon.
@transfervt4evr Yeahh hopefully soon! I’m getting nervous.
March 1. And so the real wait begins.
@frogsinribbons5 Yes! I wish that we knew what day decisions are coming out. I mean it is most likely Friday, but still.
@hokiehopeful2 yeah I think it’ll be Friday… Seems so far away.
Does anyone know what day we might hear back?
I have 4.0 but I was suspended from my last college so am scared I wont get it because of that.
does anyone know if people who applied earlier than others will hear back sooner? for example… if one person applied January and I applied February, will the January applicant hear back sooner than I will?
@gmhokie45 Yeah has anyone heard a definite date from admissions?
Last year admittance was done in waves, and according to this sites’ 2014 Va Tech Transfer thread, notifications started going out the first Friday in March.
all I know is that VT has modified rolling admission which means that there’s no official deadline for regular admission. I’m guessing (and this is just me thinking out loud) that that means those who applied first will hear back first. but I also heard the first wave will hear back this Friday. Basically I just check the guest account page and here every single day to stay updated. Also, they still haven’t updated my high school transcript…
@frogsinribbons5 they haven’t updated mine still either…
@gmhokie45 @frogsinribbons5 You still have a section for your high school transcript?
@hokiehopeful2 yup I do
@gmhokie45 Huh that’s weird, I don’t have one. I wouldn’t worry about it being empty
@hokiehopeful2 haha now you’ve got me nervous. did yours say received before the box went away or no?
