Just finishing up a RL cup of organic peachy green tea…however virtually, today I’d like to order a matcha frappe to pick up in an hour or so to go with my lunch??! Something green, cold and energy producing!!! Can do??

Yes, I just so happen to have green matcha powder. What is that anyway???

Good morning. Can you recommend something that will wake me up AND inspire me to get my house ready for Christmas? Suddenly, the holidays just seem like a whole lotta work…

Eggnog, and we have a full selection of holiday of your choice music available on the headphones. See Lucy over there in the corner bopping away while she puts the finishing touches on her term paper? Way to go!

Way to go Lucy!
So a matcha frappe is when you blend match powder (green tea) with ice, milk, and a little agave for sweetness. Very unique taste - people either love it or hate it - I LOVE it!

Oh that’s right! Because it’s virtual I can have a large eggnog with a large splash of rum . . . I’ll take 2 fingers!

I’d like a scone please, and some coffee with cream. I won’t put my virtual scone in a microwave, though. Virtual scones get all mushy when you put them in virtual microwaves, just like real pastry in real microwaves. Instead I’ll warm my scone up in a toaster oven, then put on some butter and jam. Or is there virtual clotted cream available? Yum.

I’ll bring you over some clotted cream and lemon curd as well.

Good morning all - (alright, afternoon) - D comes home for break on Thursday, so feeling festive. Peppermint mochas all around!

Yay! Good reason to celebrate.

Sorry I missed you all this morning. I had to start working the moment I sat down and didn’t finish until a few hours later. But I made my own coffee and was adequately caffeinated.

Another late night trying to get apps submitted (providing secretarial assistance and moral support). I hope you roll your cart out again in the morning. I’m going to need it!

Lifting the blinds. Turning on a little smooth jazz to ease into the morning.

What’ll it be? Cuppa joe, cocoa, double espresso? Jasmine green tea for me.

Special treat, Suzette will be coming in to serve up crêpes here in a short while. Yum.

(As an aside, I began my stroll through Paris with The Flaneur yesterday. It’s unlikely I ever would have come across it were it not for the recommendation a poster made on a recent CC thread. So far an enjoyable read – I’m on page 8…)

I’ll take a quick cup of regular coffee. I have to leave the house in about 10 minutes to go pick up S2 from the airport!!!

I need a beverage that will help me focus at work till noon when I’d my mind is really in other places other than work mode!!! Sweet or savory crepes today???

Whichever you prefer. Suzette is best known for her dessert crepes, but she is well-prepared for either.

Hey there, I just found this place–guess i never wandered down this street before.

I Need whatever will wake me up! And relax me at the same time! Spent the weekend at the hospital with H unexpectedly (he woke up with scary arrhythmia Friday night.) He’s back home, fortunately (went to work–no way he would call in sick right before C vacation…) and I need to finish grading portfolios and finalize grades for all my classes by 9am tomorrow!–nevermind Christmas.

So, I’m tired and stressed and need to work–pour me the cafe secret brew–whatever is strongest and soothing at the same time (whatever you and the crew drink when no one’s looking in the back room.).

(for Abasket) Would you like some lemon in your beverage?

(for Garland) Hm, I think we’ll try something with a little peppermint…

Will lemon get me motivated?? SURE!

And I’d like to pick up the tab for Garland today - a well deserved treat for her after a tough weekend.

Will stop back in a bit for one of those dessert crepes - fruit filled please!
