<p>We are hoping that our D will be considered as a McNair candidate but believe it is really competitive so we are trying not to get our hopes up too high. I looked and believe the weekend the candidates are invited down will be the last weekend in Feb. We are actually flying down this afternoon to visit the campus. The staff has been incredibly helpful with setting everything up for our D to visit a class, see the Honors residence, etc. Really looking forward to the trip! Good luck to your son.</p>
