Visit on Saturday in Late June

I would absolutely recommend stopping in to Ginko Gallery. In front, there’s a boutique of locally-crafted art. In the middle, there are work spaces for local artisans. In the very back is the work space of Liz Burgess, owner/artist/Oberlin College alumna/cat whisperer. In her space, Liz fosters abandoned kittens as part of a local nonprofit, and she welcomes anyone to come help socialize the kittens. (Specifically, this means petting, holding, and playing nicely with them.)

Ginko is representative of Oberlin in many different ways (college and town), and Liz is happy to talk to anyone about Oberlin.

On the other hand, there are also self-guided walking tours available in a box outside Admissions. Or you could PM me (a recent alum wrapping up my one-year appointment as a staff member) for a meet-up.
