In the end my mom dug up her old hilton honors card, renewed it and we were able to book a Hampton Inn in Times Square for just $139 a night. And on hotels.com, expedia etc. the same hotel was listed for $312 a night. So, I highly recommend a Hilton Honors card now. It doesn’t cost anything and from what it seems it has paid off. Of course the deal we got might be just due to the season and the location…</p>
