<p>Also, if you come during summer math, you’d get to see what classes are like. Granted, the summer math courses aren’t exactly like regular classes, but I still think they’re fairly representative of what Mudd is like. No one has mentioned this yet, but the last day of summer math is 6/4, though from what I can tell, we probably won’t be having lectures on the 4th (final exams…yippee).</p>
<p>There are also lots of faculty here doing research, so no worries there.</p>
<p>[Oh, and if any alums are wondering…the math core is only 3 semesters for the classes of 2013 and later, so that’s why summer math is only 3 weeks long. (however, there are some more complicated requirements for certain majors - for example, there’s a new Engineering Math half-course that engineers have to take in addition to the 3 semesters.)]</p>
