<p>i didn’t go as an official visit, but i went to the harvard national debate tournament this year, and our hotel was the marriot at MIT/Kendall. I had always felt that MIT was a school of interest to me, and one day I walked across the street and took a (i guess it was trespassing, but i’m sure they don’t mind) walk through the building that houses admissions etc, and i instantly was like wow i want to go here. there were kids riding unicycles through the hallway and juggling and stuff, and there were all these posters for clubs that i thought were awesome, all these research posters, and when you come out the other end, there’s a coop type place with a dunkin donuts, a burrito place, and a drugstore that sells 1.99 big bowl ramen. it was heaven-or to put it in MIT speak I was like “ihtfp” (in all the positive senses). I’ll prbly go up there this summer again to visit a professor or something-any suggestions on how to arrange that?</p>
