Made first, last and only trip to Vegas with adults while visiting CA relatives last winter. Saw a sign posted near one hotel/casino on the strip stating they had just started a new nonsmoking law- no smoking in lobbies, restaurants, hallways, etc, supposedly only in casino areas. Of course you pass through the casino areas to get anywhere, but the rest of the areas were ok for breathing. We happened to arrive the day of the NBA all-star game- huge crowds, many non-smokers, the next day - avoid the gambling areas… The wing of the MGM grand we were in -Priceline.com the day before booking- had just been remodeled with ultracool tv in the mirror… only problem was the long walk to the rooms-the elevator was at the opposite end of our close to the main section rooms, lower floor, but cruddy stairs… The MGM lions are nice, it was close to several fast food eateries, in and out of the hotel- easy for teens to grab cheap calories on their own. Buffet prices were not cheap. New York New York was across the over the street walkway. M&M World- definitely see all the floors. Young healthy teens would have fun during the day walking from hotel to hotel all along the strip and seeing the sights at each hotel. I told my son he would enjoy seeing it without parents, and when he’s legal. H finally put a dollar in a slot machine while waiting for the 4 of us to converge on the way out- made a 25% profit in a few minutes!

I honestly didnt think ‘O’ was that good. It was ok, but Cirque is so completely overrated. We saw Danny Gans who was absolutely amazing and hilarious.
Avoid the cliche buffets. Even the expensive ones arent that good.
