<p>i’d suggest looking for opportunities in your town/community. i don’t know what you mean by “prestigious volunteer opportunities”, but there are tons of things you can do that doesn’t involve volunteering at the library. volunteering is what you make out of it. if you do what you love and you put time and energy and effort into it, you make it meaningful and worthwhile.</p>
