There are several threads on CC about job/internship searches, strength of alum networks and IB/Finance careers so this article speaks to those topics at W&L.
There is a side bar that highlights the Career Services in more general terms. My W&L STEM/pre-med kid utilized the resources regularly and continues to do so as a recent grad.
I’m not sure what those lists mean. Do they mean that the college has actually facilitated the acquisition of jobs on Wall Street? Or does it mean that a lot of high school applicants who have their eyes on Wall Street have targeted W&L and other similar colleges? Or does it mean both?
From what I know of this topic, investment banks may have “teams” of alumni from specific colleges, which serve to guide in the hiring of graduating students from these colleges.
