wait-listed at business admin school accepted at arts and science?

<p>So i just got home from school today, opened the mailbox and what do you know a small letter from Pitt… thought to myself damn got rejected lets open it up</p>

<p>to my surprise i opened it and saw that i was wait-listed in the college of business administration. As i continued to read it they gave me 3 choices.
(exactly as it is on the paper)

  1. Be on the wait list for the College of Business Administration for fall 20009.
  2. Accept an offer of admissions to the School of Arts and Sciences for the fall term.(Note: you have already been reviewed for this option and will receive an official offer of admissions if you select this option.)
  3. Request that your application be canceled. </p>

<p>so im confused should i ask to be on the wait list or should i accept admissions? </p>

<p>and also is the arts and science school the usual school they offer? Because i have 0 artistic talent and dont know why they chose that school. If i do accept the offer after the 1st year can i transfer into another school with ease?</p>

<p>Arts and Sciences is the largest division of Pitt. It’s not just “art.” You can major in economics, history, poly sci, languages, psychology, biology, chemistry, math, music, neuroscience, etc. Here’s a link so you can check it out:</p>

<p>yeah hahaha i feel dumb i looked into it and figured it out i think im going to accept the admissions to the arts and sciences</p>

<p>I’m sure you’ll find plenty to study in A&S! And you can always go for an MBA later on.</p>

<p>Maybe you could start in A&S and apply for transfer admission to business next year?</p>

<p>Can’t you accept A&S admission pending the business school’s decision??? That would make sense…</p>
