i really do NOT understand how you could have been waitlisted
I took all regular classes until my senior year. my gpa was a 3.7 end of junior yr (unweighted obviously) and my ACT score was a 26…
Okay, they only look at math(29) and english(32) i bombed the science and reading. lol
you just seem like you do so much… I’m seriously in awe of how you could get waitlisted and I got in… hmm…

@sortasmart…
I moved here from India last August… and am finishin my senior year here… they consider me as an in-state student… They made me get my grades converted… that ended up to be 3.73 and according to the school its like 3.82, but they arent considering that… I bombed the SAT but on the ACT i got 33 in Math and 31 in English… and got waitlisted…
I applied early too…they deferred me then… was considered as an out of state student then… had a 33 in math and not so good in english… i had to send my second act score two days before the early decision cause my writing scores were delayed…had got a 28 in english… @veracity… same for me… lol

You should post this in the GT Wait list thread. It would be very interesting to know that GT is already taking people off the wait list. Yield must be slipping, as you would expect with such an increase in apps.
