Waiting on Decision, Chances anyone?

I found an exploit in their system…

Here is how:

Sign into Buzzport.

Under Financial Aid Information, select “My Requirements and Eligibility”.

On the top Tab, go to the “Admissions” tab and click it.

Click the Application Status link.

Select the your Application and Year.

Then face the truth.

check your private messages.

Current Application Status: Denied Admission…

knew it was coming with gpa <3.0

I can’t do this exploit since I did not apply for financial aid. When is the decision going to be out again?

^ Should be tomorrow then…

wait even i didn’t apply for financial aid… but that exploit still kinda works… or does it?

you dont need to apply for fin aid to get your results.
just go log in at buzzport, their click on the main tab, then go to right click on OSCAR (secure access) their click on admissions and then check application status

waitlisted.

i really do NOT understand how you could have been waitlisted
I took all regular classes until my senior year. my gpa was a 3.7 end of junior yr (unweighted obviously) and my ACT score was a 26…
Okay, they only look at math(29) and english(32) i bombed the science and reading. lol
you just seem like you do so much… I’m seriously in awe of how you could get waitlisted and I got in… hmm…

Maybe they want to bleed me to see if I really want to go there or not since I’m OOS.

(The answer is yes to the millionth power…)

@sortasmart…
I moved here from India last August… and am finishin my senior year here… they consider me as an in-state student… They made me get my grades converted… that ended up to be 3.73 and according to the school its like 3.82, but they arent considering that… I bombed the SAT but on the ACT i got 33 in Math and 31 in English… and got waitlisted…
I applied early too…they deferred me then… was considered as an out of state student then… had a 33 in math and not so good in english… i had to send my second act score two days before the early decision cause my writing scores were delayed…had got a 28 in english…
@veracity… same for me… lol

I got taken off the wait list! (As in, accepted off the wait list)

I got both an email and a phone call!

I’m currently speechless… (And very excited…)

wow Veracity… did you submit any materials after being accepted on the waitlist yet or did they just accept?

I think it was because I sent a letter to them on my own a couple of weeks ago.

They just offered me a slot in the class. :)

That’s fantastic!

Congratulations!!!

oh cool congrats… I know you really wanted to get in :)

Veracity, we’re on the same boat again!

congratulations!!!you are going right?

i’m definitely going

Veracity:

You should post this in the GT Wait list thread. It would be very interesting to know that GT is already taking people off the wait list. Yield must be slipping, as you would expect with such an increase in apps.
