My eldest son is currently a junior at Ohio State and he submitted his out-of-state freshman application on September 11, 2015 and his portal changed from Evaluation to Admitted on Friday, November 20, 2015. Thus, it appears that this is the usual time-frame for the first wave of decisions to be released.
My youngest son submitted his freshman app on October 11, 2016 and we are patiently waiting like everyone else.
