@HeadingSouth You seemed to be more than qualified. I actually have about the same score as you, just a tiny bit higher, and got in easily, although my application was little colorful. I think it is one of three things: you didn’t have enough extracurricular, something was missing in your essay, or, what I think most likely happened, you were overqualified. Schools like BU tend to put overqualified students on waitlist. I have a friends who got into Yale, Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Duke, and Yale who got waitlisted for Butler. I have a sister who got into those same school who got waitlisted for Northeastern. They probably just thought that someone with your scores would likely end up going to a higher level school.

@kcgrl1124 Reason you got rejected is either one of the three scenarios I mentioned above, or, which is more likely for you, cause you applied to Boston Medical. Boston Medical school is one of the best there is and the most competitive of any other colleges at BU. Its as hard to get into as Ivy and they usually almost require that you have some experience or background in medicine or medicinal science before coming.

To both, I am sorry you guys were waitlisted, best of luck with your other schools.
