I’m a current student at Hamilton and while I personally wasn’t waitlisted when I applied, I’m sure that if your daughter sent them a nice, well-written letter about how much she’d love to go to Hamilton if accepted, it would probably help in her favor. If this really is her top choice, she should let them know that she’d attend if accepted. I know that sending a letter displaying interest generally is in students’ favors when trying to get in off the waitlist. Good luck!</p>
