I was waitlisted from regular decision and sent a personal letter to the director of admissions in may of my senior year, and got a call during school in June asking me if I would attend if I was offered admission. I obviously said yes and I am very glad I did. It is very possible to be accepted off of the waitlist, but you must show the school that you are very interested in coming. If you have made it to the waitlist, that means the admissions office is confident that you would fit well at Hamilton, they just don’t have a spot for you at the moment. Make them want to give you one of the select waitlist spots by accentuating what you can bring to campus and by showing that Hamilton is your top choice. Be creative.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
