<p>I said 6000 were o.f.f.e.r.e.d. a place on the waitlist, and much less actually accepted a place. Of course BC OFFERED 6000 on purpose, knowing that most of them will turn it down.
250 doesn’t sound like enough to me. They also might have meant that there would be 250 on the waitlist for each school like millertime95 mentioned. Their yield from previous years was hovering around a crusty 25%, imagine how much lower it is for the waiting list. In May- June. When most people have already decided where they’re going. -,-</p>
<p>But jpm50’s right in that the actual size of the waitlist can be anyone’s guess, the whole pool’s only 70% of what is used to be…</p>
