<p>That is so not true. If you simply look at the SAT scores of those accepted to UChicago and those accepted to the Ivies, you’ll immediately see a huge difference. UChicago practices Tufts Syndrome, which is why you see so many qualified applicants get waitlisted. They cannot accept those students because it will really damage their yield rate, hence possibly dropping out of the Top 10 Rankings. So to say that admission to UChicago is similar to that of HYP is simply preposterous.</p>
