Rejected flat out.

The process really is a black box; i thought i had essays and a point of view (for most of my life even) and drive and enthusiasm that fit in nicely with the Institute’s philosophy, plus the people I know that have gone to MIT, I could easily consider myself their peer, and for some of them, even their superior, in 100% of areas (academic, extracurricular, athletic, and humanitarian)…

It’s all confusing, just really, really confusing- best not to spend too much time dwelling on it.

Just move on mate, crying about it like I did last night is nice- even cathartic- but it wont change the decision :P

PS Brian, knowing your story and your ambition and your experience: it’s okay to feel as you do right now, okay to feel betrayed- i’ve been evnsioning myself walking the halls of MIT since before I hit puberty… but if you let it consume you, you’re going to screw yourself over… wait a week, let all the frustration out (cry, break boards, run long distances, do whatever it takes) and then move on to being enthused about attending whatevre university is lucky enough to have you.

It’s all we can do mate :)

PPS- brian, if you want to talk- Dragon45 at gmail dot com for my email and my AIM is DragonRaj45 (without the **, im trying to confuse harvester bots :stuck_out_tongue: )
