<p>Due to yield for the past several years (% students accepting an admission offer), MIT has not offered admission to anyone on the waitlist (except 1 person two or three years ago). This does not predict anything about the Class of '10 waitlist: in years before the previous three, several dozens were taken each year from the waitlist. (I got these figures from earlier study of the older Common Data Sets, which no longer seem to be available on MIT’s website.)</p>
