<p>Last year nearly 2900 students were waitlisted at JMU. About 1340 accepted a place on the waitlist. Of those who accepted a place on the waitlist nearly 500 students were ultimately accepted. So, if you do stay on the waitlist, at least based on last year, you have a reasonably good chance (37%) of getting in. Good luck.</p>
