<p>My D asked me to post this. </p>
<p>In her heart, Wes was far and away her top choice. She had great stats and continuing demonstrated passions and national awards. She was waitlisted (to everyone’s surprise) but had other very solid choices. Yesterday, Stanford accepted her, which changed her perspective. Another friend received a likely letter from Yale and was also waitlisted at Wes. This is certainly turning into a strange and unpredictable admissions year.</p>
<p>But, she will most likely (almost sadly) be giving up her waitlist space at Wes (which she immediately secured) - she is truly excited about Stanford and is still waiting for the Ivies today.</p>
<p>Best of luck to all - Wes is a great school.</p>
