<p>The article praises Yale as an American university that is aggressively gaining world stature through growth of its resources and breadth of its specializations.A key part of this, President Levin is quoted as saying is increasing the number of foreign students at Yale and Yale students in foreign countries. “If we want to be a truly great university, we have to embrace the world.”</p>

<p>Based on the lack of responses, I guess this was not so thrilling an article after all.</p>

<p>Yeah, it’s an interesting article summarizing many of the landmark press worthy events of the last few years. I thought the Yale Tomorrow (or w/e it’s called) $3 billion fund raising campaign was notably absent - would’ve been a good way to mention alumni involvement.</p>

<p>Was also piqued by the subtle Harvard bashing. Is it really a shared belief that Harvard is being too conservative?</p>
