Want to get into JMU (James Madison University) so badly need help

Okay, I have nothing to offer about James Madison, but have to say this: You’ve been at your college for what, two weeks? How can you possibly know already that you hate it? You’ve barely started classes, clubs and organizations are just getting underway, you’ve hardly had a chance to make friends, etc. And if you think you made such a huge mistake in choosing your current school, what makes you think that with no more than a few weeks of college experience, you have a good basis to select another college? Good heavens, give yourself a chance, make the most out of first semester, and don’t think about this whole subject again until January. If your mind is on transferring all the time, you’ll never settle in and find your place at your current school. Just work hard, maximize your grades, and find some extracurriculars you like–these will serve you well whether or not you ultimately transfer
