I was at a 4 year university with a reputation of being brutally difficult (it’s a top 15 us news ranked one yadda yadda, if you really wanna know which one pm me) so it was extremely hard. i had a unit limit there of 16.5 credits but took 18 plus I took an online class. It was extremely difficult and first semester I got a 3.3 (it’s also an east coast school and I’m a socal native so i had awful culture shock). Second semester I did way better: I made the Dean’s List with a 3.65. I would honestly just spend two years at cc. it’s cheaper and you can get more involved in EC’s to bolster your app. I had a decent amount of EC’s like newspaper staff writer, on a sports team, in a sorority, fem alliance, but it was really really really hard (obvi as GPA proves). I was somehow able to make great friends but I had to decline A LOT of opportunities to go out and have fun and I had almost daily breakdowns where I’d call my mom sobbing wanting to come home. Again, though, I was across the country and I hated it.
