Congratulation to all one-year-transfer… I’m glad to know about this topic.
I have some concerns about choosing course load for this Spring to transfer ASAP. My major is BioChem or Chem.

When you take 18-21+ units, are they IGETC courses or major prerequisites courses? Would it be impossible to have Math, Bio, Chem and English together in one semester? I just moved to the US for a year so I’m afraid of the “craziness” of these classes. Will it affect my GPA?

I am trying to have all of my major courses in Fall and Spring. In the summer, I would take PHYSICS (only) and then all of the IGETC course? Will UCs accept my summer course units? (I know that some of the UCs do, and some don’t)

If there are any tips on balancing the schedule, I would love to know them… I just got a job at a tutor center and I really want to keep it along with my course load. Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you so much!
