I believe we are on the same side in this war. I have never understood antisemitism. We all need to learn to live in peace, but there are some groups that don’t believe in that philosophy.

But it is also important to know that Hamas, in fact, was using these hospitals to do their dirty deeds. I have family members that were held in a hospital during part of their captivity. The woman was dressed in a niqab to disguise them, the kids were covered in blankets and the man was wrapped up as a corpse to transport them, so they were also using ambulances with red cresent markings. Information is coming out slowly as they begin to tell their stories, but yet, none of the stations that aired the “a Hamas spokesman has denied that Hamas is using hospitals as their headquarters” have aired these statements. Airing anything a “Hamas spokesperson says” as if it is credible makes me want to puke.

Just wanted to update this thread as I fear that after the first group of hostages were released and Americans saw the celebrations they moved on to other issues and have forgotten about the remaining hostages or what the hostages are going through once home.
We had 2 family members released the first day (Amelia (5) and Daniel Aloni) and 3 the last day (Sharon, Yuli (3) and Emma (3) Cunio). David Cunio (the father of Yuli and Emma, husband of Sharon) remains in captivity (today is day 80, I believe) with his brother Ariel, his girlfriend Arbel Yehud, and Arbel’s brother Dolev.
While there was a lot of celebration around the release of Daniel, Sharon and the kids, things have not been exactly happy since then. We are learning details little by little, but it is horrific. While the news showed a cute clip of Amelia returning to school what they didn’t show is that it wasn’t successful. All of the kids continue to show major signs of trauma and Sharon is barely able to function with David still in captivity and spent many weeks in the hospital. While Daniel and Amelia had a home to return to as they were only visiting Nir Oz, Sharon and the twins had their house burned down and everyone from their kibbutz was either killed, taken hostage or displaced.

I’m so sorry for you and your family. It’s beyond a nightmare.
I pray the rest of the hostages will be released and you will all be reunited.
